Ben Thompson

Ben’s passion for shooting began at an early age, accompanying his father on shoot days — whether in the beating line, watching from the peg, or loading. A short but insightful career in gamekeeping gave him valuable experience and a deep understanding of what goes on behind the scenes to deliver a successful day’s shooting.
Since then, Ben has gone on to load, host, and instruct on some of the most exclusive sporting estates in the UK. When he’s not out in the field, he enjoys spending time with his family and, when the opportunity arises, can be found by the water fishing for salmon, trout, or anything that will take a fly.

James Harper

Originally from Wiltshire, James has been immersed in shooting and stalking from a young age. Having worked closely with shoots and sporting estates across the UK, his passion naturally led him to qualify as an instructor in 2021 with the Association of Professional Shooting Instructors. Today, he works with both novice and experienced shots, helping to refine skills and develop confidence in the field.
Outside of instructing, James enjoys working his dogs, shooting, and stalking across the country. From Cornwall to the Highlands and even further afield across the continent.
